The summer is almost over and we can hardly beleive it!We have had so many campers come in and out these past few weeks and are looking forward to the many others coming soon!
This week the campers have been getting a feel for working with glass.
Fused glass involves cutting glass (safely of course!) and laying pieces onto one another to make a picture or pattern. When the pieces go into the kiln, they melt together and become one lovely piece of art! The glass can then be fired again to take the shape of bowls, plates and more.
This week the campers got to make a bowl and some pendants to take home. The kids had a wonderful time and picked up the skills quickly- they're all glass fusion experts!We still have spots available for our last weeks of camp coming up- see our list of camps below:
