The Studio

Welcome!

The Art Studios is a great place to come get creative! We offer a variety of activities for people of all ages. Bring in your family and friends for a fun afternoon out, join us for your birthday party or group team-building, or simply come in by yourself to relax!

At the Art Studios you always leave with more than just a great piece of art.

Thursday 11-6
Friday 11-6                                                               Children- $5/hr
Saturday 10-6                                                           Students/Seniors- $6/hr
Sunday 10-6                                                             Adults- $8/hr

Activities:

Ceramic painting:

Drop into the studio and pick a pre-made piece of pottery. We have cups, bowls, piggy banks, platters, figurines and much much more. Once you have picked your piece you choose up to 6 of our fabulous colours. Now you are ready to have fun and paint your piece! (follow the instructions given carefully!) Once your piece is painted we will keep it at the studio for about a week and when you get it back it will be shiny, smooth to the touch, and dishwasher, microwave and food safe!

Clay work:
Drop into the studio and ask for a pound of clay. Knead out the clay and work with your hands. There is nothing more satisfying than turning a big hunk of gray clay into something beautiful! When you are finished, we will keep the piece here for about 2 weeks to dry and get fired. You can then come back to pick it up or paint it!



Glass work:
Only available in class or group situations, glass work is harder to do. If children are interested we ask that if they are under the age of 12 they are accompanied by an adult. Glass is tricky, but looks absolutely beautiful in the end! Make a dish, platter or pendants to share!
